Choose your course from the list below, register, and pay through our secure payment portal. Course materials are immediately available for you and can be completed at your own pace

Order Your Lab Kit

Within your course page, click the link to purchase your lab test kit. The kit will typically arrive within a week. Follow the instructions in the kit and send it back to the lab (Note: purchasing a lab kit is not required)

Review your results

The last part of the course reveals how to understand your own test results. With your new functional medicine knowledge and results in hand, you’ll be one step closer to feeling well again

Why would I take a Vytal YOUniversity course?

If you’ve suspected you have a medical problem but have had a hard time finding answers within the traditional medical world, taking a Vytal YOUniversity course allows you to explore functional medicine and answer some of your questions with personal lab data at a lower cost. NOTE: Your Vytal YOUniversity course is meant to provide you with general information about your health, and is not intended to diagnose or treat any health condition. It is also not meant to take the place of medical care by a healthcare provider. You are encouraged to review your lab results with your provider.

Does my Vytal YOUniversity course include interaction with a health care provider?

Vytal YOUniversity courses are meant to be self-directed and are designed to empower you with knowledge about your own body. However, if you feel you need additional support after taking your course, you are welcome to enroll as a patient with one of Vytal Health’s functional medicine physicians to receive more one-on-one care.

Are Vytal YOUniversity courses or labs covered by insurance?

Vytal YOUniversity courses are not covered by insurance, however, if you have an FSA (Flexible Savings Account) or HSA (Health Savings Account), you may use these accounts to possibly get reimbursed for the lab test kit. Follow the steps as outlined by your FSA or HSA administrator. Vytal Health is not responsible for submitting receipts or obtaining reimbursement on your behalf.

Could the lab testing done in a Vytal YOUniversity course reveal something scary, like cancer?

The lab testing done as part of our courses looks at non-urgent medical problems like hormone imbalances and thyroid problems. None of the testing performed will reveal information about more serious health conditions like cancer, transmittable infections, or other severe health problems.

Does a Vytal YOUniversity course take the place of working with a doctor?

Our courses are not meant to substitute for actual care from a provider and do not provide any specific diagnoses. Rather, they are meant to enhance your knowledge and provide information for you to be better informed about your health. We recommend that you work with a physician or other health provider to further evaluate any abnormalities you discover while taking a course.

How long do I have to complete the course?

Vytal YOUniversity courses are entirely self-paced. There is no expiration on your course, so complete it as your schedule allows.

How do I get my lab results?

Your results will be available about 2 weeks after you submit your kit. The kit will be shipped to you from our lab partner, Rupa Health, who will also email your results to you directly when finalized.
